2. Scope

We sell to consumers, meaning people buying for purposes outside their trade or profession. We deliver to the countries listed on our Shipping page. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have as a consumer under the law of Portugal or the mandatory law of the country where you live.

3. Our pieces

Each product page states what you receive (for example a set of two handkerchiefs, or a cover without an insert), the size, the fibre composition and the care instructions. Photographs show the actual design; small variations in the placement of stitches and in the shade of linen are part of embroidered textiles. Items shown around a piece in a photograph (cups, books, flowers, inserts) are not included.

4. Personalisation

On personalisable pieces you may add a line of up to 20 characters. We stitch it exactly as entered. You confirm that your line contains no trademarks, logos or names of public figures, and nothing unlawful or offensive, and that it does not infringe anyone’s rights. If a line breaks these rules we may decline it; we will contact you and, if no new line is agreed, cancel that item and refund it in full. The full rules are on Your line.

5. Prices, currency and VAT

  • Prices are shown in the currency you select in the header (USD, EUR, GBP, DKK, SEK, NOK, CHF or CAD). Amounts in currencies other than US dollars are converted at the rates we set, and the price shown is the price you pay: you are charged in that currency.
  • For delivery to the European Union and the United Kingdom, prices include VAT at the rate of the destination country. For other destinations, no VAT is charged and the destination country may charge import VAT, duties or fees, which are not included.
  • Delivery costs are shown in the bag and at checkout before you place your order.
  • If a price on the website is obviously wrong because of a technical error, we will tell you before dispatch and you may confirm the order at the correct price or cancel it free of charge.

6. Ordering and the contract

  1. You add pieces to your bag and go to checkout, where you enter your details and choose a payment method.
  2. Before ordering you can check and correct everything you entered, including your line, and you see the total amount in your currency.
  3. By clicking “Place order and pay” you make a binding offer to buy.
  4. We confirm receipt of your order by email straight away. The contract is concluded when we send that confirmation. It contains these terms, which you can also save or print from this page.

The contract is concluded in the language of the shop you used. We store the contract text and you can see your orders in your account if you created one.

7. Payment

You can pay by card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) or PayPal. Payment is taken when you place the order. Card payments are processed by our payment providers, which are certified to PCI DSS; card details are entered on their secure forms over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection and we never see or store your full card number. We do not charge any fee for any payment method.

8. Delivery

Dispatch and delivery times and costs are set out on our Shipping page. If no other date has been agreed, we deliver within 30 days of the contract. The risk of loss or damage passes to you when you, or a person you name other than the carrier, take physical possession of the goods.

9. Cancellation before dispatch

You may cancel an order free of charge until it is dispatched (for personalised pieces, until stitching starts) by writing to support@keepselle.shop. We refund the full amount within 14 days.

10. Right of withdrawal

You may withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receiving the goods without giving a reason, except for pieces made to your specification with your own line (Decreto-Lei n.º 24/2014, article 17(1)(c)). The conditions, the effects of withdrawal and the model withdrawal form are on our Returns & withdrawal page, and you can withdraw online with the button Withdraw from contract here.

11. Legal guarantee

All goods are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity of three years from delivery under Decreto-Lei n.º 84/2021; a lack of conformity that appears within two years is presumed to have existed at delivery. See Legal guarantee.

12. Promotions

We do not currently run promotions, sales or discount codes. If we ever do, the conditions will be shown next to the offer, and any reduced price will be compared with the lowest price applied in the 30 days before the reduction.

13. Liability

We are liable under the law for damage we cause intentionally or through gross negligence, for death or personal injury, and under product liability law. Otherwise our liability for indirect loss is excluded as far as the law allows. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer.

14. Complaints and disputes

Please contact us first. You can also use the electronic complaints book at www.livroreclamacoes.pt. For consumer disputes you may turn to the alternative dispute resolution entity CICAP – Centro de Informação de Consumo e Arbitragem do Porto (www.cicap.pt). See Complaints & disputes.

15. Applicable law and courts

These terms are governed by Portuguese law. If you are a consumer living in another country, you also keep the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence.

16. Changes

We may update these terms for future orders. The version that applies to your order is the one shown when you placed it; your order confirmation email links to these terms, and the version date is shown at the top of this page.
