KEEPSELLE

For every reader

Accessibility

A letter should be readable by everyone it is meant for.

What we do

  • We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA, as the European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882, implemented in Portugal by Decreto-Lei n.º 82/2022) asks of online shops.
  • Text and background colours meet the WCAG contrast ratios.
  • Every function can be used with a keyboard; focus is always visible; a “Skip to content” link opens each page.
  • Images carry text alternatives; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
  • The stitched preview only repeats the text you type in a labelled field, and every thread colour has a written name.
  • Animation stops when your device asks for reduced motion. Videos are silent and only play while visible.
  • Pages work when zoomed to 200% and on small screens.
  • We do not use accessibility overlay tools.

Known limitations

The payment window of our payment providers is provided by them; we choose providers that publish accessibility commitments. Videos have no speech; they show embroidery and the folding of a handkerchief and are described in the text next to them.
